Celebrating Women Through Art

Art is woven into the fabric of Mandarin Oriental, Vienna. The hotel’s collection features 410 artworks from 25 artists, including 14 women, reflecting a deliberate commitment to promoting female creative talent.

Guests encounter works by artists such as Gabi Mitterer, whose pieces capture the beauty and refractions of Austrian crystal, and Jelena Donko, whose contemporary graphic works reinterpret the design language of the Wiener Werkstätte.

Integrated throughout the hotel, these artworks create meaningful connections to Vienna’s artistic heritage while providing visibility and opportunity for women artists working today.

Through its collection, the hotel demonstrates how hospitality can help sustain living culture and celebrate the creative voices shaping the future.
